I recently worked for the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMUCC) IT department. On average, I set up two university employee workstations per week. About 4 out of every five devices I work with were Windows machines. The other fifth were MacBooks. This totaled to over 130 installations. On these installations, I frequently needed to employ troubleshooting skills to ensure employee devices and applications function properly. When not fulfilling these duties, I worked to automate record-keeping processes with Python and Batch scripts to improve office productivity.

NCL Competitor at Islander Cyber Society

Aug 2024 to Present

I am currently preparing for the National Cyber League (NCL) competition with the Islander Cyber Society. This competition tests competitors on a variety of cybersecurity topics, including password cracking, network traffic analysis, and web application security. I am excited to compete in this competition and learn more about cybersecurity.

Configuration Manager at SMRT Vocab

To build this language learning app, I worked as a Configuration Manager and Software Engineer in a team of 5 other undergraduate students.

Web Designer at Island Waves News

Feb 2024 to May 2024

For 4 months, I digitized the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Island Waves student newspaper using WordPress and Python. Unfortunately, this organization dissolved, but it provided me great experience acting as an individual contributor and implementing feedback.

Skateboarding

A long time hobby of mine is skateboarding. I like skateboarding because it's a good reason to get some fresh air, absorb some vitamin D from the sun, and do some cardio.

Video Games

Another hobby I've had since childhood is video games. The first video game that captured my attention was Super Mario World on the SNES. These days, my favorite games are Peak and Skate.

Hash Checker

It's a good idea to check the hashes of downloaded files before opening them. This web tool helps with that.

Text Replacer

Once in a while, I have the need to use a find and replace text on an app that does not offer that featue. This tool solves that problem.
